Lori Perry, Urban Day Spa's trusted skin care expert!

Lori Perry, obtained her Pennsylvania Cosmetology license in 1995. Over the next decade she continued developing her skills working for both private and corporate salons. Recently she has focused her attention solely towards helping her clients get and maintain beautiful, healthy, youthful looking skin and in doing so has become a highly regarded expert facialist here at Urban Day Spa. Her passion and enthusiasm for providing excellent skin care is demonstrated by her ability to quickly build long and trusting relationships with her clientele. Lori resides in Sayre, PA with her husband of 11 years and their two beautiful children. Her pastimes are shopping for the latest fashions and reading.

Cathy Hammond Counts

Cathy Hammond Counts, Licensed Massage Therapist, brings 18 years of experience as a licensed massage therapist. She became licensed by the Ohio Medical Board in 1992. Her work travels have taken her to several states including Louisiana, Arizona, and now Pennsylvania. Her southern states' experiences include owning and operating a therapy clinic in Baton Rouge, being director of a massage therapy clinic for staff at Baton Rouge Bluebonnet General Hospital, and serving as an instructor of massage therapy at a Medical Training College in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Cathy then moved to Phoenix, Arizona and worked at a Fitness Center at Anthem Country Club in Anthem, AZ as a sports therapist. In 2003 Cathy relocated to her hometown of Chillicothe, Ohio and opened Atlantis Spa and Bodyworks in 2004. In 2010, Cathy moved to Sayre, PA with her two sons to join her husband, Jeff.

Cathy uses an integrative approach in her therapy to include Swedish, neuromuscular, myofascial, sports massage, pregnancy massage, and spa techniques such as body scrubs and hot stone therapy. Her belief is that a skillfull and seasoned touch infused with a genuine caring can be the basis for a total ~ mind ~ body ~ spirit relaxation and healing experience. Cathy looks forward to meeting clients and making friends in this new chapter of her life.

Amy Brennan, Owner - Urban Day Spa

Spa owner Amy Brennan, is a Licensed Massage Therapist, Microsoft Certified Applications Specialist, CompTia Certified Technical Trainer and Joomla expert. A self described "geek," she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in 1997 from Keuka College completing a dual major in Accounting and Hotel Restaurant Management. Upon graduation she was employed by Xerox Corporation as a Financial Analyst. Amy returned to school in 2001 to study at the prestigious Onondaga School of Therapeutic Massage. For the past decade Amy has worked as a freelance professional providing website design, software training and business consulting for corporations including international market leaders: Amazon.com, McDonald's and Starbucks.

Amy is excited to be the new owner of Urban Day Spa and to be serving her hometown community of Athens, PA. As a lifelong learner, Amy is currently studing Martial Arts at The Edge Fitness where she recently earned her Orange Belt.
